Judge Michael J. Hunter is sworn in as a Circuit Judge to the 10th Judicial Circuit Court on March 12, 1998.

Judge Hunter was elected to the County Court in 1994. On February 4th, 1998 he was appointed to the Circuit Court by Governor Lawton Chiles.  Judge Hunter took the place of Judge Oliver L. Green, Jr., who was elevated to the 2nd District Court of Appeal.
