SPECIAL ORDER
ORDER VACATING ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NOS. 2-44.1, 2-46.0 and 2-47.0
It having come to the attention of the Court that the following administrative orders no longer reflect the practice in the Tenth Circuit, and
The Legislature having passed changes in the law affecting the determination of indigency in Section 27.52, Fla. Stat. (2005) which clearly delineated the duties, responsibilities and procedures concerning applications for appointment of the public defender and determination of indigency, it is hereby
ORDERED that the following administrative orders are VACATED:
A.O. No. 2-44.1 entitled "In Re: Application for Appointment of Public Defender and Determination of Indigency Pursuant to §27.52 Fla. Stat., (1996)" entered April 3, 2001 and having effect only in Polk County;
A.O. No. 2-46.0 entitled "In Re: Application for Appointment of Public Defender and Determination of Indigency Pursuant to §27.52 Fla. Stat., (1996)" entered May 14, 1997 and having effect only in Hardee County; and
A.O. No. 2-47.0 entitled "In Re: Application for Appointment of Public Defender and Determination of Indigency Pursuant to §27.52 Fla. Stat., (1996)," entered May 14, 1997 and having effect only in Highlands County.
