SPECIAL ORDER

ADDITIONAL ASSIGNMENT OF CIRCUIT AND COUNTY JUDGES
TO THE OTHER COURTS OF THE TENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT

 

WHEREAS, it is necessary for the dispatch of business in the Circuit and County Courts in the Tenth Judicial Circuit for the following assignments to be made.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, J. David Langford, under the authority vested in me as Chief Judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, in accordance with Rule 2.050(b)(4), Florida Rules of Judicial Administration, do hereby assign and designate the following judges as temporary judges of the Courts as herein set forth, and on the dates as indicated below, unless otherwise amended.  This assignment is for the purpose of hearing, conducting, trying and determining the cause or causes which shall be presented to them as temporary and acting judges of the designated courts, and thereafter to dispose of all matters considered by them.

JULY 2, 2007 THROUGH JANUARY 6, 2008

            1. Judges Alcott, Artigliere, Brown, Carpanini, Curry, Doyel, Durrance, Estrada, Ezelle, Hunter, Jacobsen, Jones, Kornstein, Langford, Laurent, Maloney,                  Masters, McCarthy, McDonald, Prince, Roberts, Roddenbery, Selph, Shinholser, Smith, Stargel, Wright, and Yancey to the County Courts in Hardee,                  Highlands and Polk Counties.

            2. Judges Coon, Cowden, Green, Griffin, Harlan, Kaylor, Kirkland, Raiden, Spoto, and Williams to the Circuit Court of the Tenth Judicial Circuit and to                  the County Courts in Hardee and Highlands Counties.

            3. Judge McKibben to the Circuit Court of the Tenth Judicial Circuit and to the County Courts in Highlands and Polk Counties.

            4. Judge Ritenour to the Circuit Court of the Tenth Judicial Circuit and to the County Courts in Hardee and Polk Counties.

These judges, under and by virtue of the authority hereof, are hereby vested with all singular the powers and prerogatives conferred by the Constitution and                Laws of the State of Florida upon a judge of the Court to which he is hereby assigned.
