ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 3-9.0

SERVICE CHARGES BY CLERKS OF THE CIRCUIT COURT

28.101(3), Fla. Stat., states:

Upon receipt of a final judgement of dissolution of marriage for filing and in addition to the filing charges in §28.241, the clerk shall collect and receive a service charge of $7 pursuant to §382.023 for the recording and reporting of such final judgement of dissolution of marriage to the Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services.

In order to comply with this statute, it is

ORDERED AND DIRECTED:

1. That the Clerks of the Circuit Court are specifically authorized and directed to collect and receive a service charge of $7.00 for the recording and reporting of a final judgement of dissolution of marriage, in addition to the filing charges in §28.241, when a party petitions for a dissolution of marriage.

2. That said recording fee is not, in whole or in part, refundable to the petitioning party under any circumstances.

3. That this Order revokes and supersedes Administrative Order No. 70 entered December 29, 1987.
