IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE TENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT COURT

IN AND FOR HARDEE, HIGHLANDS AND POLK COUNTIES, FLORIDA

WHEREAS, Section 766.104(2), Fla. Stat., requires the payment to the Clerk of a filing fee not to exceed $37.50 for an extension of the statute of limitations in medical malpractice cases; and

WHEREAS, said fee is to be established by the Chief Judge; and

WHEREAS, it is therefore necessary to establish the said filing fee to implement the law, it is therefore,

ORDERED that:

1. A filing fee of $37.50 is hereby established pursuant to the provisions of Section 766.104(2), Fla. Stat., whereby a 90-day extension of the statute of limitations in medical malpractice suits is sought.

2. Said filing fee shall be payable to the Clerk of the Court where the cause of action will be filed.

3. Administrative Order No. 3-2.0 entered March 17, 1993 and Administrative Order 3-11.0 entered October 23, 1986 are hereby VACATED.
