IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF THE TENTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT IN AND FOR POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA Administrative Order No. 2-23.1 ORDER ON COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WEEKEND WORK PROGRAM WHEREAS, through the joint efforts of the Polk County Board of County Commissioners and the judges of this circuit, an alternative sentencing method known as the "weekend work program" has been established whereby sentenced defendants serve their sentences on weekends; andWHEREAS, the program is supervised by the Polk County Sheriff 's Office; and,WHEREAS, there are costs of supervision and administration associated with this program; it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that each sentenced defendant who participates in the weekend work program shall be charged $20.00 for each day spent in this program, payable upon reporting for work, which monies shall go to the Polk County Sheriff 's Office for associated costs.
