Winter Haven Women's Bar Association

     The Winter Haven Women's Bar Association is a voluntary bar association for lawyers in the Winter Haven
and surrounding communities in Polk County. The group was formed in September of 1996 as a networking
and professional exchange group.  The group meets monthly for a lunch meeting at Tanner's Restaurant at
326 West Central Avenue, Winter Haven, Florida.  For regular meetings,an RSVP is required to the group's
president by the second Monday of each calendar month.  The group's president and contact
information are stated below.
     The group publishes a monthly newsletter containing member notes with
information about the group's member, CLE opportunities, new laws, and statistics focusing on issues affecting women in the practice of law.  A copy of the newsletter is available, by request, to the organization's president.
     The group consists of 32 women attorneys from eastern Polk County.  
A wide variety of legal practices are represented. Areas of practice include: personal injury, criminal, civil, estate planning, real estate, business, guardianships, and family law.  One attorney is in-house counsel at a large trucking corporation.   The members names, addresses, primary practice areas and telephone numbers are listed here.
