Orders on Motions for Post-Conviction Relief

Whereas, it has come to the attention of the Court that the current procedures regarding the service of Orders denying Motions for Post-Conviction Relief under Rule 3.850 of the Rules of Criminal Procedure does not comply with said rule. It is therefore,

Ordered and Adjudged that henceforth, the Clerk of Court shall promptly serve on the prisoner a copy of any Order denying a Motion for Post-Conviction Relief or a Motion for Rehearing under Rule 3.850 of the Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure. It is, further,

Ordered and Adjudged that the Clerk of Court shall affix upon all Orders served on prisoners the date of service by an appropriate Certificate of Service, such as:

I Hereby Certify that a true and correct copy of the foregoing Order has been served on Prisoner's Name, Prisoner's Complete Address, by regular United States Mail this 14th day of April, 1994.
