AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO ADMINISTRATIVE ORDERS 43 AND 44
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 2-10.0
COURT APPOINTED COUNSEL REPRESENTING ADULTS AND JUVENILES
WHEREAS, in Chapter 82-215, the Laws of Florida 1982, the Florida Legislature appropriated certain funds in the state budgets of the Public Defenders to assist the counties in defraying the expenses of court appointed attorney fees in conflict cases, and
WHEREAS, the Comptroller of the State of Florida has specified that a uniform order for
payment of attorney fees and costs should be used in conflict cases, therefore it is
ORDERED AND DIRECTED, that to provide uniformity and to speed the process whereby counties
are reimbursed for their payments of court appointed fees and costs, the present form
order contained in Administrative Orders number 32 and 44 titled "ORDER DISCHARGING
ATTORNEY AND AWARDING COMPENSATION" shall be removed and destroyed, and that
enclosure 1 to this amendment titled "ORDER FOR PAYMENT OF ATTORNEY FEES AND
COSTS" shall replace the removed form order in both administrative orders and be sed
henceforth in ordering payment in conflict cases.
