IN RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF POLICY CONCERNING
THE ACCEPTANCE OF GIFTS
IN ORDER to establish a policy concerning the acceptance of gifts by judicial officers and employees in the Tenth Judicial Circuit which reflects the relevant portions of the Florida Code of Judicial Conduct and opinions issued by the Florida Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee, it is
ORDERED AND DIRECTED that Judges and judicial employees of the Tenth Judicial Circuit shall not accept gifts, gratuities, or loans from organization, business concerns, or individuals with whom they have official relationships concerning business of the court system. This Order is not meant to prohibit the giving and/or receiving of gifts among and between judges and judicial co-workers.
Administrative Order No. 1-32.0 is hereby VACATED.
